And the bad thing is which surely exemplifies their laziness is that the pilot and the Blue Beacon are right around the corner from the drop yard...

Being a little rough on night dispatch...

I mean he straight-up said they didn't have that number in their system it's kind of like when they don't have the temperature in the system and they ask you to verify temp on bills even after you put it on the load message.

I've been here two years I've been asked a couple times to verify the number on the bills like that and I send in the Bol number just like you.

And I've personally been involved with a situation where Tyson gave the wrong bol to a driver with the complete incorrect load. The only saving grace on that one was we were both going to the same place anyways.

The BOL number on Tyson bills is never on the dispatch. It's also not the same as the 5001 number which is the PU number. I have never put the 5001 number for the BOL number as they are not the same. Why question me now about it? I pickup from Center Tyson all the time as I live 100 miles from there and have never been questioned.

I just let that stuff go. "Proving" your point just gives the impression of being an a-hole and I don't want that lable (even though I am a full blown a-hole).

No need for a reputation like that.

Center was where that big load screw between me and another driver happened based over Bol.

Also why you taking this personal? Tyson may not have sent JCT the actual Bol number and they just didn't have it in their back end system so they were just making sure it was good.

I mean I used to take the please verify temps on Bol messages personal until I realized the information just wasn't in their back system...

Also I do my Bol messages just like you do for Tyson loads and I've been bugged a couple of times in the past couple of years to double check numbers on Bo else which leads me to believe that occasionally Tyson doesn't send the full Bol information to JCT.

It was early am, no caffeine, and lack of sleep. I came back 12 hours early to help on a load that another driver dropped due to break down. Then I get to Center to pick up a load that was supposed to have ready 12hrs before I got there. Which now both stops have to be rescheduled.

And I don't like be questioned on things that have never been questioned before. Why question it now after 3 years? Like i said, if they want the 5001on the loaded call, then send a fleet message stating as such. If that makes me an a hole, then so be it. But I'm the a hole that does my job and has the track record to prove it.
