Was at the terminal a week or so ago. I couldn't believe the number of newer trucks with "E", "F", "G's" and even some "I's".
Turnover rates must be cooking! I say that's a good thing. I hope peeps bail in droves as maybe that will get them to kicked up the sorry-### rate that is paid.

I just stumbled across the new app called DOCK411. Seems like a really handy app. It lets you look up customers to see what they are like, from docking to OPA to the bathroom situation. Here's the link if anybody is interested Dock Details Drivers Deserve . You can also give your own feedback on various customers to add to their database. The more of us participate, the better. I have some MAJOR feedback to give on some of these places we go as reefer drivers, that's for sure.
MachoCyclone Thanks this. -
So my swap shows up after his shower drops the trailer I go hook up to the trailer and there's a nail sticking out of the tire with air leaking.
The shop is backed up as there is a couple of trailers that can't maintain temperature so they're having their loads trans loaded and other trailers in front of me loaded needing Tire work.
Here's the kicker the driver is not even staying in his truck tonight he staying in a hotel so he had no reason to stop for a shower....
Successfully causing the need for two repowers on two Tyson loads... -

If I have to swap, I do everything in my power to make that swap point asap. Showers can wait especially if you are going to be staying in a motel that night. -
Hahaha.....I just checked my emails and I had gotten on from Miller Truck Lines asking if I was interested in coming to work for them. How they got my email I don't know, but I just deleted it. Not even going to respond.

Due to a GMC pickup picking a fight with our Cascadia,(which is now at body shop with much damage), we are in a Peterbilt rental. It's a 2016 model with 260000 miles. It was left at FW yard by a team that called it quits. We've driven it 1700 miles doing 65 on I-10 at 69000 gross with very little wind. I figured we've averaged 6.8 mpg. The truck is in like-new condition and runs good except for being underpowered. This fuel consumption is ridiculous as we've never, not once, done that poorly with a 15' or our 17' Cascadia. Is this normal or is there something wrong with this truck?

The driver of the pickup received the citation for crash, an elderly gentleman reading a text while making an illegal u-turn across 4 lanes of US 175 in Athens,TX. Just in case anyone was interested.
