Yeah I don't care that the tire had a nail in it. That comes with the territory. What I care about is he soaked up all the ####ing leeway time with a stupid shower so there was no extra time for the repair.

I should have had a very comfortable two to three hour cushion.

I feel your pain. Like I said, a case of the other driver saying #### it. Make note of the truck number and black list it.

I might not have to worry about that my DM said he's going up the chain with this one. He was part of a three-way swap so his negligence is basically causing or may cause two service failures including one Tyson.

Why do drivers sit 2 hours to have a mudflap changed instead of just spending 15 minutes doing it themselves.

A bloodied nose caused by airbags on the motorist was the only injury. We were bob tailing to FW yard. His brand new Denali was totaled with our truck damaged on front and left side.

    That's not my job-itis.

I did have to wait one time because the bolts had to be CUT off and the bracket re-mounted on a picked up trailer one time.

I've heard stories of drivers refusing to even replace gladhand seals "I'm a trucker not a mechanic".

Grain of salt consumed on that, but hearing drivers talk I'm not sure that's a falsehood.

Heard one of our own at the terminal on the phone "If the trailer aint fixed in the next couple hours I'm going to tell them to just keep that load and gimmie something else because I don't drive at night."

Probably the same driver that complains about no pay and miles...

I swapped from one of those I don't drive at night drivers. She ain't here no more. This mudflap guy is only 2 bolt held on so it's a real easy one the mech are making fun of him. I have also seen a guy waiting to change a bulb. He already had the bulb but wanted a tech to swap it. I was like let me see the bulb and I swapped it for him in like 30 seconds. He looked amazed.
