I'm so paranoid about being pulled, I check the fifth wheel every time the truck is out of my sight.

Then again I do walk around mid trips every time the truck stops. I've caught so much stuff that happens in route like blister trailer tires between the duals...

You could also set your trailer brakes pull forward then set your tractor brakes you'll have enough pressure on the Kingpin in the Locking Jaws that I seriously doubt anybody will ever get it unlocked by hand

I hate when I do that on accident on a trailer drop and I have to get back in to relieve pressure. It's at that moment I wish I had air release 5th wheel jaws like at Werner.

I do that every night. A couple years ago I was watching someone walk around my truck and looking around. He goes to quickly pull my fifth wheel release and ended up pulling his shoulder out socket. I laughed as he rest off and slept easy that night

I don't understand guys that do that. I assume they are trying to "get even" with the company name on the door. Problem is, it doesn't really hurt the company but is devastating for the driver.

In my case, the ####### was parked behind a fuel pump at a busy truck stop. So, I backed into the fuel island and got my fuel. He wasn't impressed.
