Man I feel you last two loads of been good. 25000 lb from Franklin Indiana to Houston Texas then my next pick up was almost next door 14000 lb from Houston to Tolleson Arizona.

My previous load was Heavy from American Canyon California to Des Plaines Illinois but it's all downhill once you get past Cheyenne Wyoming. And did that trip with an average over 9 miles per gallon.

    CannonballAA and MachoCyclone Thank this.

I'm looking hard at that. I've even done the app and talked to Schneider finance. Very nervous about proceeding. Got the call from the ic recruiter..havent called him back.

I was nervous too. Hell, anytime you do something new, it's normal to be a little nervous.
I've been running 2 weeks as of 2day and so far i believe i made the right choice. My rate per mile is substantially higher and less miles/ work. My 1st full paycheck was 3x more than i made at JCT..... take home.

It does, however, require constant searching for loads. Still have a ton to learn about their customers and lanes. Once i get a grasp of that, it should be no problem booking my loads a week at a time. I love the independence of the system. I've talk to a person 1x so far and that was on the last day of orientation. No pesky q com messages asking me stupid stuff... only fleet msgs. No baby sitting, no micro managing. I truly do what i want, when i want, where i want.

When you're looking at loads that pay as well as they do here, it's kinda hard not to make money.

I thought about doing that and was actually approved to start about 8 months into my time at JCT. But I got cold feet...

    CannonballAA and kanidana Thank this.
