Running with JCT, Part Deux

Awesome. Arrived at 1000 for a 1300 appt at Daisy in Wooster, OH. Preplan also picks up from here also at 1600. Got the PU# from dispatch and getting unloaded and loaded at the same time right now. Doesn't get anymore efficient than that.

 

Got to love it ; when eveything falls in place & a plan comes together !

Well the incorrect pricing of Flying J continues to screw with me up here in Reno it's currently listing at $2.49 on the app and $2.89 cash price...

I really think that it is showing us the JCT actual discount. It's not being masked anymore.

 

I would tend to agree.

They trip me out. The send me a preplan with two pickups i can not make either on time. Smh.

 

My preplan delivers tomorrow night. If I run it straight through the night, I'm too early and won't have any hours to go make delivery. If I run it during the day, no way I could make on time due to traffic in several major cities along my route.

Home office contacted the consignee about taking me as soon as get there in the am. They agreed and said they would work me when I get there.

 

Well the EZ trip truck stop in Fresno is officially closed. The parking lot is still open though apparently.

However across the Interstate is a 76 and it's sign says easy trip diesel. The EFS app has that store listed and its prices matching at $2.64 currently but they only have two pumps and there was a line down the road as if this was a fuel shortage situation and people are just trying to fill up before it ran dry.... Can't exactly blame them the prices in the area over $3 the next closest EFS that was cheap was the Valero's in Chowchilla running $2.67 went there and they are out of diesel until tomorrow because everybody's hitting that store since the easy trip is closed.

 

That's when you have to decide if the extra savings is worth the extreme wait with no guarantee you will get an6 fuel. For me personally, no.

 

Just filled up in NM at the Sinclair exit 267 for 2.29. Took my 30 minute break at the pump with no other customers coming through. Guess people are scared of cheap fuel?
