Running with JCT, Part Deux

Why unload it, when you can reject it.

 

I wish they wouldn't take 4 hours to figure that #### out though

 

Walmart seems to always take 4 hours. I swear they just want to waste time.

 

Here's the cute thing about Gas City. They had a line of drivers out the door waiting to check-in and check-out with only one person at the window. A second person came to the window and instead of working the line proceeded to go out into the hall and tell the drivers that they can't wait outside the door they have to wait up against the wall down the hallway. So she decided to play Hall Monitor instead of receiving clerk

After that when I was checking out and being refused on my load the first clerk went on break. There were at least 15 drivers in line.

 

You sure it's the load they're rejecting and not the driver.

Just kidding.

 

Hey! I show the utmost professionalism in the face of BS...

..Until I get outside and scream obscenities.

 

I'm here at the Ft. Worth yard. Been here since yesterday morning. Told JCT I'm willing to help out locally over the weekend since I have to wait til Monday to put my APU in the shop.

Talked to the local guy here and they are sending him to pickup a load that was suppose to pick up almost 3hrs ago and now JCT has to pay a late fee to pickup. Told him that they didn't have an excuse for that because they had a truck available (me) to pickup that load and knew I was willing to help out. But, that's weekend dispatch for you. Bout as useful as tits on a bull.

 

Welp, taking the load to Chicago like I did my other fruit load in Ohio a while back. Anthony Marano warehouse. Easy to get to, easy to get into, and quick last time. I'm sure its being sold for a dollar a case again, maybe a little more. Of course lost my load to Ocheleta Walmart but I'm not exactly crying about it...

 

And super single blowout....
