I hate when people tell you oh you're lucky we took you because of (fill in the blank that's out of your control).

Prime example the guard at Costco in Tracy told me they were lucky they took me because my load was short. She shows me the paperwork and it said the order was short but what I brought was on count. The Tyson load count matched what was on the BOL and matched what was on my Qualcomm. How in the world was I to know that they shipped less than what you ordered?

That's a matter of personal perspective. My Cascadia has been in the shop (minor glitch that was fixed in an hour) only once where I know drivers whose brand new Petes have been in the shop multiple times.

But, all trucks are the same now a days. Plastic boxes where the factories cate more about production numbers than quality.

Hate to admit this but given the choice between aero kw/pete with a paccar motor or a freightliner with a dd15 I'd take the freightliner as much as I dislike them.

Just stating reasons, not really here having a who's better contest. They all paid the bills when I worked on them. The life of an Apu is a rough one considering the hell they go through being mounted where they are, the lack of service they get.

I loved the series 60 in my truck when I was in the military. I gotta admit the I am loving my DD15 I have now. It's proving to be a good solid motor.
