Truck got done yesterday evening at 6pm. There was another JCT truck that had just got towed in with a bad starter on a 17. So, I got his load to Florida. Dispatch asked if I was good to go, I said he'll yeah, I've been sitting for a week.

On the bright side, I have a completely new fuel system. New pump, lines, injectors, filters, and the housing for the filters. Apparently an O ring on of the fuel filters had broken and it was sucking air into the system.

I actually never did run out of fuel. They added 50 gallons as part of the troubleshooting process. Then when I topped of at Maverick in Winslow, it only took 100 gallons.

Very simple to get around. Haven't seen what they've set up, but the Apu install kits come with a long line to run to the ignition fuses. Well there is an inline fuse and all you would have to do is break the circuit by pulling the fuse (cutting the line, splice back at a later date)

So, my check engine light came on earlier today. Stop at the Freightliner in ABQ and they found that Flagstaff forgot to update the computer after they made all the repairs. They updated computer and all is good again.

Dropping at Taylor Farms,Dallas, 1st thing in morning and then on hometime thru the holidays! Taking entire family to Angel Fire, NM for a white Christmas. Wishing all you guys and gals a safe and happy holidays. Hopefully we will come back from trip in one piece as skiing will be new to us. I’m still trying to make up for Christmas two years ago when we spent it in a hotel in Yuma! You married guys know what I am talking about,(happy wife=happy life). Anyway, Merry Christmas to you all and here’s hoping we all have a safe, prosperous and healthy new year!

Btw, did any of you see how good looking the bald guy on JCT’s Facebook page is? He’s listed as last month’s team of the month. With the better half of course! Didn’t realize that JCT had right to post my picture. Presumably I signed something that gave them that right. Wifey had to point it out to me as I don’t Facebook. Literally, this forum is the only form of social media I participate in.
