Okay what in the hell is going on with West Texas diesel prices... It's hard to find prices below $3... Or let alone below national average...

I'm sure that's part of it but I was still finding $2.45 diesel outside of San Antonio and 255 diesel in Phoenix. it's just usually the price from San Antonio to El Paso stays relatively close but it's way different.

Well, didn’t win any cash again this Xmas. I think next year I’ll just schedule time off for Xmas, and win the cash JCT pays to come out of the house and move chicken parts from A to B. That seems to have better odds for me to “win” something.

How'd you like the pics of the dead insects in the trailers on their wall?

bs,he's working for .96cpm plus fsafter the fuel they make as much as me before all the other deductions and the company is making 2.50-4.00 a mile.Companies are screwing drivers bad on lease purchase and it ticks me off but as long as drivers are willing to do it they'll keep getting screwed all in hopes after 5 years they will own the truck which will have 600k plus and in need of an overhaul. You get no help with health insurance, stay out for weeks for what?Makes no sense to me but to each they're own carry on.

You can't use spot rates for contract rates. Those are two completely different animals. Could the base rate for our pay be better? Of course, and you won't find a driver to say no. If you were smart at running your business then paying for a in frame on the motor wouldn't be much of an issue. Everyone seems to think having alot of miles on a truck is bad and I don't understand why. It's only an issue if you don't take of it properly.

Is JCT perfect? Nope, not by long shot. Does their program work? Yes. Is it for everyone? No it's not.

Every company out here is screwing the driver in some way. To say other wise is just stupidity.

So, I forgot it mention this when I first found out. I was talking to the home office after I had my breakdown and we got to talking about general stuff. I mentioned why do we pay the 75 cent fee when we use their preferred network.

Well, turns out the actual fee is $1.50 per transaction and instead of just dumping that entire fee in us; they spilt it 50/50.
