It's nice having that starting gremlin worked out of the truck. It turned out not to be the clutch switch. Yesterday afternoon when the Freightliner tech went to bring the truck into the shop, he bypassed the clutch switch behind the pedal and it still wouldn't start. He had to do the same thing the road service tech did. Which was have some hold the key in the start position while he jumped the wire harness on the starter.
It actually turned out to be the wires to the starter had broken internally and it was luck of the draw if they connected to allow starting. So, he had to rewire those wires to the starter.
Apparently we have a driver liaison for issues between driver and shop now. I will be calling him on Monday because I shouldn't have to pay for the after hours road service after the was supposedly fixed Friday evening.

All 3 pumps are out of order at Maverick Holbrook. Of course I made it here on empty. Guess I'll try to make it to NM state line....
MachoCyclone Thanks this. -
It's supposed to be fixed by 7am tommorow if anybody else has plans to come here. Till then it's credit or debit card only. And the pump at least stretches to both sides of the truck.MachoCyclone Thanks this. -
I was considering stopping there ... But Speedy's was 3 cents cheaper.
