Whole Foods DC in Austin, OP allowed along street near facility? Google looks like there are lots of trucks parked on side streets, but I’ve never been there and don’t wanna roll there expecting OP and find out otherwise.

Well, Tyson really screwed up yesterday. Me and another driver showed up at Tyson in Houston yesterday at 4pm (our dispatches said 1600 -1805) and found out that everyone had already left for the day. This after about 30 min of ringing the door buzzer for the shipping office. We called the guard shack to find out if anyone was working and called home office to let them know what was going on.

After about 2 hours the JCT and Tyson Corporate going back and forth. Turned out that Tyson in Houston was suppose to pre-load those trailers on Friday, but they didn't. Word finally came down that they weren't going to load til Monday. So, they other driver opted for a different load since he had a pretty fresh 70 still and I opted to go home and go back on Monday since I had almost nothing left on my 70.

It's a good thing that both of those loads are Tyson to Tyson loads otherwise it could have been really been bad.

No clue. I haven't been there myself.

How dare you besmirch the good name of Tyson like that you know they never make mistakes.

They never put a JCT load onto a covenant trailer on a drop and hook and then leave for the weekend.

They never put the wrong trailer number on the paperwork and then the guard puts the wrong number on a previous trailer and then they don't realize what trailer you actually have and then they freak out thinking that someone got given the wrong trailer cuz they're not paying attention.

They never put the wrong product on a different trailer and swap the entire load forcing them to fax a new bill of lading to a load already in route because he has the wrong bill.

They never put the wrong temperature recorder for Stater Brothers in a trailer causing the entire load to be rejected.

    How dare you

    :p

Answer to my own question...yea you can park along the streets here at Whole Foods. Of course I got here early on a Sunday and only a few other trucks here, so YMMV if you're arriving late at night for an early delivery.

Back at Tyson this morning. GO into the shipping office. Guy goes this should have been picked up Saturday morning. That he he had a guy here til 11am that day. I said I was in line making sure the trailer was clean for y'all and I was told to be here betweem 4pm and 6pm. I was also told that this was supposed to be pre loaded (and there is one of our trailers in your lot) Friday according to Corporate. Someone somewhere dropped the ball and I paid for it. We can round and round in circles with who was supposed to do what, but that is above our heads anyway. So, what door do you want me in?

Now, in a door getting loaded.

Loving the auto detention pay and why it's important to send your macros. This is for the delay at Tyson pickup that I just made.

Yea I’m loving it too. I keep collecting detention at this pace, and I’ll be able to supersize a Big Mac meal for my birthday! F94EDE34-6307-4661-B2D0-7A21DC0BAAB3.jpeg

Anyone know if the Walmart distribution center in Terrel TX has street parking?

Pretty sure there isn’t any OP parking there, and there are signs along the street saying no parking. Although there were 5-6 professional drivers parked there last time i was there, so whoknowz.
