So, apparently now if you reserve a space at PFJ with the app, you can get a refund on the space if you have to cancel it before 12pm (local truck stop time) on day you reserved for.

8 years here..figure by now they would be able to include the consignee on the PP. There are places I won't go to in Houston but there are places I will. I hate turning down loads just because the go to a certain town.

 

Yeah it's odd they don't put the con on the pp...

 

I just call my DM and ask him. I too have a few places that I refuse to go to, so if there’s any question I just call and ask.

 

I bet any amount of money does the reason they don't put it on there because they know there's certain places drivers don't wanna go

 

Every time I've asked my DM for the address of the cons before I accepted the preplan, he has shot me the address. I'm moving over to Schneider so I don't think I'll have that luxury any more, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I may just avoid certain cities entirely based on reputation just like I avoid the northeast. But that's no guarantee that there won't be some crap customers.

 

If you see a load at sni that says electronics and such...don't book it..its Amazon...also mooresville in..don't book those either.. They are either several 1000 pounds overweight And it will take you approximately 6 hours to have the load reworked or the load Is not ready and it could be ready anywhere from Just a few hours to 2 days... I figure I would save you a headache...
