I for one was happy to see 30-40 new trailers at Sapulpa without the skirts, this was a few months back. In our operation we see crosswinds way more than headwinds and tailwinds are of course rare. The trailer skirts exaggerate those crosswinds. I always thought they were a silly idea, so I was quite happy to see JCT go a different direction. The loud Carrier reefers that are on these new trailers is another subject.

I have better luck with the coolers outside Salinas. Though my loading record is still held by Jbs in Greeley. Over 38 hours.
