I hate thieves. Once upon a time when I was a Regional Facilities Manager, I spotted TWELVE, yes 12 bogus invoices sent to me by Accounts Payable to sign off on. Total about $65k. I had just started this position after the EarthLink-MindSpring merger and was wondering how long the previous person had been paying these #### things prior to my arrival. About $35k of them were recurring bills for crap we had zero involvement in.
CannonballAA Thanks this. -
I'm not really sure what happened. My head was spinning due to JCT thought I was messing with them at first.
But they were talking about a possible Qualcomm hack. The guy who called new my name.
As far as payment for the tow, I've been towed 4 times and never cut a EFS check. We're part of a tow network..Jarhed1964 and MachoCyclone Thank this. -

So I've got out one of our brand new trailers it looks like and it actually has an arrow on the the driver side pointing to where the tandem should be set for California....
Except...usually the arrow points at where the center of the axle should be not where the red mark is on the slider...
So if you were to look at the trailer...it looks like my tandems are incorrectly behind the arrow even though they are in the California hole....CannonballAA Thanks this. -
MachoCyclone Thanks this.

Off topic. Just want to say and I'm sure it'll sound like sucking up but it's really how I feel.
I'm always on this board complaining about day to day JCT stuff like money and the grind of it all. But sometimes I think of people coming to this board for honest opinions on leasing here and get turned off because of negativity.
I've really enjoyed my time here. Been driving for a living since 1993 and this has been the most laid back enjoyable experience out of all of them. It's also been for the lowest paying. But somehow being in this situation, has my personal finaces doing better than ever... If that makes sense. And this year with the pay raise will probably change my last statement. Also It's like comparing apples to oranges really. Paying off a truck and all.
And without getting into details I'm only a few thousand off from what I've made in the past.
So just wanted to say I'm very happy here. Feel like this is the life I was always meant to live. But that doesn't mean I want to stop complaining about stuff to people in like situations. lolotterinthewater, crxdc, DADof3 and 6 others Thank this.
