The difference is that bobcat isn’t restacking 20 pallets of small boxes on to 100 (or more) pallets.

 

And whyyyyyyy does that matter to the driver? Our job is to get it there not wait while they make it pretty. Be like me making the postman wait while I sort my junk mail.

 

Not enough on the dock to unload a truckload of stuff and still have room organize it to standard. Which is why they unload a few at a time, verify count and condition, organize those, and repeat.

 

I know...it makes logical sense. Then you hit Costco with a mixed load and it takes 20 min.

Besides, Walmart loads are suppose to be palletized a certain way to make offloading more efficient, haven't seen proof of that yet thoough.

 

The thing about WalMart (at least the only one I go to now) is that when they are fully staffed in the warehouse; I’m out in about 2 hours. But, when they are short staffed (because they love hiring younger people that still like to party) then I’m there anywhere from 4-7 hours depending on how bad they are short staffed.

 

If anyone is wondering, the Loves special points for JCT drivers is still going. I had to call customer service to get it back on my card and they said that currently there is no end date for that program in the system.

 

Yeah I had to call too. They even added points from a couple of my last transactions for me.

 

I only fuel st TA/Petro and AmBest. .30-.45 off pump is too good.
