The ability to blind side is a skill well worth it. While the other guy was circling the shippers parking lot to site side the last open space; I swooped in and blind sided the space and was parked and on my way to the office before the other guy circled around.

 

Finally! We can mount our GPSes to the windshield...

Has anyone gotten in trouble for it being on the windshield? I've gone through three inspections with mine on the windshield and no one said anything.....

Speaking of speed a friend of mine got nabbed for speeding in Texas. Said he was driving with the flow of traffic and the cop came into traffic and nabbed him.

officer told him yeah he was moving with the flow of traffic and there were other vehicles moving the same speed as him but since he was in a semi-truck they were instructed to inforce on Commercial only.

59 in a 45. Just in case you ever feel safe speeding in a group...

The lesson here is that if you are going to scam ComChecks don't cash them all at the truck stop down the road from your work.

Scamming via ComCheck... that's pretty stupid in reality since the tracking on those with a larger carrier is pretty thorough. Talk about leaving a paper trail.

 

We had a similar thing happen.
The account manager on a dedicated account who took my spot when I changed positions.
He wasn’t to bright thou.
He would draw the Comcheck number as an advance charged to drivers pay. Don’t know why he wouldn’t expect driverd to not look at their pay stubs and see cash advances taken out that they never took.
