I honestly can not say how happy I am with this latest development concerning the "eyeball" cameras. Good on you Daryl Christner to see JCT's error here. I have been made privy to some of the other things you guys are looking at and applaud you guys for looking ahead.
We will leave at some point as we're looking to go completely independent. We are feeling much better about hanging around while we build up our trucking account before striking out as a carrier.
I've always stated that we've done very well here as a team and am very thankful for the opportunity.
We've had our gripes here, but probably no more than we would see at a comparable company.Jarhed1964, drvrtech77, MachoCyclone and 1 other person Thank this. -
Wow....hadn't got email saying there new post. Glad to see the driver camera program was cancelled. And some of these "drivers" here say upper management doesn't listen to the thoughts and concerns of the drivers.
Jarhed1964 and CannonballAA Thank this. -

I believe they do listen, not that it means they always will act on what they hear from drivers. I'm sure they have gotten much feedback concerning the cameras in exit interviews.
There were a number of drivers threatening to leave when time came for camera installation on their trucks. I was told they probably wouldn't get to our truck before it was paid off.
They have listened to drivers on other topics as well and are at least entertaining another change that would be beneficial to us drivers. Of course, someone may have been blowing smoke up my backside to make me feel better.Jarhed1964, MachoCyclone and VolvoTerry Thank this. -
MachoCyclone Thanks this.

And in case you missed it... it says "lol" at end of my post. I know they listen, they're just really slow to react.
MachoCyclone Thanks this. -
Finally got the free inverter installed while in Sapulpa. Had to shuttle some empties from Ft Worth to Sapulpa over the weekend. So, figured since I don't have chance to get up that often; might as well have it done.
It's a Tundra brand (never heard of it) 1500W modified sine wave inverter with a remote to turn it off and on and to monitor the truck batteries and inverter output. A pure sine wave would have been better, but we'll see how it works out over time. And couldn't beat the price.
Jarhed1964, CannonballAA and Kamkor Thank this. -
