They also talk about how JCT is taking a loss on fuel surcharge which is disconcerting. would explain why they want to move to percentage-based because then they wouldn't have to worry about fuel surcharge....

If something were to happen (missed OTD), the driver manager and JCT cam place the blame 100%on the driver because they checked daily, individually on that load.
Jen used to tell me how she hated to ask half of the drivers on her board as they where mostly senior drivers. -

Percentage based pay is being tested on a few trucks now. They are working out the kinks and seeing if it works at all. If it does work it will be offered to all drivers or you can stay on cpm pay. A few other changes involving premium market pay and pickup pay.

As long as the 100-120 a week in profit I'll be losing after May gets used to give Breakdown internet access so they can be able to look up ThermoKing locations instead of relying on a paper book and sending me to a location that no longer exists and is now an over pass...I'll consider that a win.
