It was actually nice to pick up an empty and all it needed was a license plate light. You can bet that I will be turning in that reciept for $5.40 with the trip packet.

Rarely do multiple stop trips, as in more than two. I've got a five stop trip and am really confused as to which arrival/departure calls to send at each stop. There are two pick ups and three drops. Can someone please proper sequence of calls?

I’m thinking 2 is your second pickup, then 3 first drop, 4 second drop, then consignee. I could be wrong though.

    Pickup 1.....Arrived at shipper only
Pickup 2.....Arrived at Stop 2 and loaded call when done.
First drop....Arrived at Stop 3 then depart Stop 3
Second drop....Arrived at Stop 4 then depart stop 4
Final....Arrived at Consignee and empty call.

*61 of the 528 inspected drivers received a CVSA decal for undergoing a Level I inspection that resulted in no critical violations

Jesus remind me not to get level 1 in New Hampshire....thats a hellacious pass rate...

Boy oh boy. Does Tyson really know how to screw the pooch. I get to Tyson yesterday afternoon for an evening pickup. I go check in and I'm told it's loaded and ready. I'm surprised at this since I'm 10hrs early. I look at the trailer number and notice it's 5 digits instead of 4. I bring it up and turns out it's loaded on a Tyson trailer. So, after som phone calls, they agree to transload to one of our trailers.

8hrs later I go back in to check and yep it's done. I get the bills and go hook and head to the gate. The gaurd comes out and tells me that the shipping office gave me the wrong bills (we usually have 2 loads that come from there going to the same place). So I go back and they give the correct bills and I drop the trailer and go get the other trailer. I get out the gate and leave thinking everything was good.

I get 2hrs doen the road and all of a sudden I get a new dispatch on the QC. Followed by a phone call. Turns out Tyson screwed up when they thought they gave me the wrong load and ended giving me the wrong load. So, I had the right load the first time.

The problem is that the load I was suppose to have is a 0430 appt and the driver that has it won't be there til 6am and the load (which was suppose to go the other driver) I have now is a 0630 appt and I'm too early. But according to dispatch WalMart is going to take me 2hrs early but still count the other driver late. That's messed up IMO since this was all Tysons fault. But that's WM for you.

Hope the rest of the weekend goes better for me.

That happened to me at Perdue in North Carolina a few weeks ago. Put my load on a Perdue trailer and had to get it swapped over to a JCT trailer. Still made otd though

WCC once put my load on a Covenant trailer, they were able to swap it over to one of our's within a couple of hours though. At Tyson in Pottsville, Ar. now experiencing much grief with my current load

Was that Tyson in center Texas because I picked up a load a while back there where me and the driver each had the right trailer but the wrong load was in each other's trailers but luckily we were going to the same place at almost the same time... They just faxed him the correct bills down the road.

I've also had a load put on a covenant trailer that I had to get trans loaded in the morning because shipping was closed. Seems to be pretty common...
