I think it's the truck. I've had a team (with a 2020 KW) tell me that they've had the air release 5th wheel fixed twice in a month. And another driver had his deck plate fall off completely.

From my understanding they stepped away from Freightliner for a while and are going to KW. They have the new Paccar auto 12 speed transmission.
Good luck testing that out.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Even though it's Friday just remember....
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Gotta love it when you go to a place so much that when they call you they just say you know the drill. Lol.

You know you've screwed up in life when a CR England driver is recording your antics driving on a cell phone...
My condolences to the driver going through the Rialto Truck Stop with his trailer brakes on with an empty trailer just a bouncin....Jarhed1964, MachoCyclone, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this. -
It's ok. The tire is completely fine. The missing tread boots your mpgs by 2mpg because you know....less weight and all.
Seriously though, it was dropped loaded like this at the Fort Worth yard. Breakdown asked where I was taking it and I replied with, " Nowhere. It ain't leaving the yard."

In today's episode of "Why Swaps Suck.", we follow the story of @Kamkor who stupidly rescued a Tyson/Walmart load one day after picking up a 2600 mile Florida load out of California, without asking for additional compensation.
This poor ####### went back into California with the promise of a load out of Colton to Oklahoma in an effort to both make himself whole, and put himself in a position for good freight out of that area.
Little did he know the axiom "No good deed goes unpunished" as well as Murphy's Law would come into play the day before a major holiday, as his load got canceled 1 hour before pickup and after hours in the central time zone. Reaching out to dispatch, he was informed that "Planning will be in in the morning." That morning being the Fourth of July...
While there is promise of TONU in a message, hopes are not high in this JCT truck at the Rialto Travel Center, who has decided that swaps, are indeed, the ####ing devil, and will now go to the world of Pandora on Borderlands 2 in an effort to take his frustrations out on inanimate objects since he feels like a hooker on a holiday...well rested with no loads coming his way.
More as this story develops.BJnobear, Jarhed1964, kanidana and 6 others Thank this. -
Breaking development in the "I shouldn't have swapped".
Prelim 6.6 earthquake in SoCal...was a fun bounce around for about 30 seconds...BJnobear, Jarhed1964, MachoCyclone and 2 others Thank this.
