Running with JCT, Part Deux

One of the things I hated about the swap model of trucking at JCT...the crapshoot. I like to know what I'm doing from beginning to end up front. I hate a mystery. I swapped some loads taking me to the worst places that I would have never gone to otherwise. Happy to be booking my own loads and at least knowing my pickup and delivery spots are exactly what I chose.

 

Yeah I dont like it much either, but I did get to pick my load out of California. Its not really JCTs fault the Walmart canceled the load. Which is why I'm not griping at them. Just how the cookie crumbles.

Irony is now I have another Florida load, but it wont make it, they already know.

And I'm taking the hint California, I'm leaving, you dont have to keep shaking the ground...you made your point...

 

This guy is a pro at this so I don't think that some random guy is going to be able to pick the lock.

 

It's also hartening to see that he had to use a vise instead of doing it holding it. And it seemed to take longer than a normally does even with that.

Plus him saying this is a lock he would use.. That's a good vouch.

 

So I'm swapped and going back to California because my load was for a team.... And they just had a 7.1 earthquake ...

I know California, I'm not looking forward to me being there either but quit throwing a tantrum...

 

There was a disturbance in the force

 

My wife said this last one was strong she felt it in bullhead City and said it was like being on a boat and the windows were rattling.

She said the one yesterday just made the TV rock a little.

 

About a year ago I had this super single plugged. Look at me now.

Not really sure why it blew out but guessing the plug failed.
Leave it to me to lose that gamble.

 

I'd call lasting a year pretty good.
