OK I thought I was losing my mind! Thanks for the info. Also the carriers are loud as hell. Feel bad for the people around me.

 

What happened to those TK S-600 units? Did they switch to the Carrier x4 7300? The only thing I didn't like about the carrier units was the noise.

 

The carriers are so loud its like they are in a constant state of regen. Plus when they kick on they rock the truck. I like the thrmoking better.

 

Just a quick repost of a useful app for drivers. It is called Loadingspot. It is 100% free to sign up and use. There are over 226,000 companies in the data base. A lot of those have reviews from other drivers about their experiance at a shipper or consignee. If the company you are at isn't listed, then you can add it to the database which then instantly updated to all users. It is for Android and iOS. This app can give you an idea what to expect at shipper/consignee. I encourge all to download this app and actively contribute to it to help themselves and other drivers.

 

I love that app. That and truckers path. Ohh an my cat scale app.

 

Haven't tried truckers path yet. I now love the CAT Weigh my Truck app now that we can set it up to pay with the new fuel cards.

We have new fuel cards. They are silver. You only need truck number and trip number to get fuel. You have the option to take the entire $150 out at once. You can setup a pin number to withdraw cash from and ATM. You can purchase oil, box DEF, etc on the card. And you can set it up with the Weigh My Truck app to pay for scales.
