I really need to stop by the terminal more often. In fact... The last time I was at the terminal was my first load after orientation...

Who do I talk to? I was there last weekend and no one said anything.
-
Lisa I think. She is one of the DM's. Sits by the window right next to the door.
-
Think his name is Josh. He's the big guy over by Lisa. But pretty much all of the DM's will get you to the right person.
crxdc Thanks this. -
casa grande to melrose park, IL with plenty of time to get there, i'll get in early tomorrow and stalk the oasis see if i can get a spot so I can chill in town for a bit. Didn't know about those fuel cards either, wonder why they didn't send a message out, or if they did i guess i just erased it.

Well, got to Lemoore, CA for 0530 loading appt, they tell me my appt been changed to 1330 and my load will be ready then. Bobtail out and park, so, 10 hour break....

Gotta love Loprino West, I dont think I ever got loaded at the original time.
crxdc Thanks this. -
Well I'm in Rogers and of course my load is not ready. Guess I will be running over night.

My load that brought me to SoCal I kept them (Macro41) I will be at the San Bern yard on the 27th at 0900. Well, I made it to the San Bern yard at 0845. That is when the planner for the area finally tells me DM that all the local drivers here have more loads that they can handle and freight is oddly slow for a Thursday and Friday, but freight is looking better for Saturday. I say fine, but running down to Carson will eat my whole day tomorrow for delivery. The loads delivers at the height of rush hour for the whole LA area and I don't know how long they will take to unload, so set my available for Saturday morning. My DM says ok and proceed to go to chill mode for the rest of the day.
At 330pm,I get a phone call from Sapulpa asking if I would be willing to help out on a load. The driver didn't have enough hours to make to Americold in Carson ontime at 10pm. I say ok to do it mainly because it moves me up in line for a load and I know I can get down there, unload, come back get the trailer washed and fueled and park with my left over hours (5 hours after my break). The other driver finally shows up at 730pm. I take it down there and deliver (hour and half total time there) come back, wash and fuel trailer, and parked at the Three Sisters Truck Stop by 0100. Been sitting here since waiting on a load. I even called and my available was reset to right after I sent my empty call, so, I'm waiting on slow freight right now. -
