Maybe they finally learned not to put trailers there. LoL
Yeah they have an odd set up on the way trucks are place to load and unload.

Ok so the pick up in ft smith is zero mountain. Walmart didn't finish unloading me till 815 and my pick up was 0900. Called my dispatcher and told her I was gonna be late for pickup. Got here at 945 and I tell you what the guy at the shipping window is about to most polite person I've delt with.

HI GUYS ! ! WOW!!! Boy oh BOY did TTR changed up the site while I was cruising and snoozing!! I changed my avi to reflect my success at JCT. Got Ole Glory there, of course. The Arizona State Flag, and my Ranch's Logo and Brand (the brand is still pending; in the waiting period AZ Dept of Ag requires for protest before registering in the AZ Brand Book). Don't know if when I post the side thingie will show my name but it's Aminal moseying about here. Got a lot going on these days but I thought I'd stop by and say Hi. Still driving it on JCT style and doing fine. Time DOES go by fast, doesn't it?

    Playing "catch up":
I posted on closing on the Ranch and all the good things hard work and discipline have netted me here at JCT. Wifey's doin' fine, though you'd never know it listening to her. Lord that woman knows how to complain!! She's absolutely fine, though. She'd complain about the taxes we had to pay if we hit the Powerball Lottery. I just overlook the complaining and motor on. Got to take my youngest daughter on a whirlwind tour of the country for a month riding shotgun as my navigator. She hadn't been outta her area of the State much so that was totally cool. You know. Showing the things we see every day and tend to take for granted. Til you hear a WOW from the passenger seat. Then you go WOW too, cause you just saw it in a very different way. You know. "WOW look at that cliff side and all this Indian stuff." Those Cliff walls are AMAZING (pic'ing and texting the whole time)."Yeah. This is Speedy's. It's Navajo.I always get my fuel here cause it's cheap. Pretty much nothing else here other than potholes in the parking lot and tourist stuff." "But look at THAT (and that and that and THAT! lol)"!! That was neat. Hint. Traveling with your teenage daughter on her summer vacation from school really slows you down. Hint #2 - It should. It's supposed to. The planners were great and my plans got me my miles AND a whole server full of memories for both of us. KUDOS JCT on that.

Darla's doing real well (knock on wood). No major malfunctions. Knocking 7.8 MPG over her whole life (115K) and a nice 8.3 MPG over the last 35K. She's starting to loosen up real nicely, though the interior is still Chrysler YUCK. Drawer and cabinet handles breaking - past the 90 day "unconditional guarantee" that Freightshaker gives. No biggie, though. Boneyards got plenty of those - cheap. They pretty much all fit each other and 10 minutes with a screwdriver does a remove and replace. Drawer handles aren't the money makers anyway. The Detroit Diesel guts are and so far so REAL good there.

Lotsa other personal stuff too. Some magic, some tragic. Not ready to share there yet. Getting a little too chick flick at the moment. I will say; throughout ALL of it; JCT has been a real champ. Can you find a better deal than JCT? Prolly. If you look hard enough.

    Can you find better people?

Not in my book. So, what's in YOUR wallet?

I put my stock in fine people. Pays off in ways money can't.

    Every time!

Night all. I got an early wake up call too. The nature of the biz. See ya'll in the Funny Papers. Til then; Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down.

    Welcome back.to the forums Animal.

Got swapped out at MileHi in Denver yesterday afternoon with a driver who ran out of time in Denver. His load is going to Clarksville, Ar. Thing I am going to be short by an hour to make there myself. Tried telling them when they called about the swap. They were you will have 4 hours left to drive when you get to Denver. I said no I won't. It will be more like 2 hours because I still have to over Veil. Sure enough, between Veil, contruction traffic at the Eisenhower tunnel and rubber neckers at the 70-76 split, I had two hours to drive. Did the swap and hit rush hour traffic with construction. Made Limon with 20 min left to drive.

I'm not worried though. The route takes me a stone's throw from the yard. So, I'm sure there should be an eager new hire to take the load from there.

Welcome back Aminal glad to see you are still kicking that mule of yours. Well I am finally leaving the state of FL. Have to pick up and head to WI. Hopefully they can change the appointment or u can swap. 4 days on a 1300 mile run is gonna suck.

    Aminal Thanks this.

Ehh I need to edit that I over reacted not knowing the full situation. Lost a truck upgrade after it being set up for ten days and doing a crappy recovery. But I understand why now. Medical issues with another driver. I can wait.
