Dumb ### people wanting petes and KWs just to have a pete or kw. I'm sure they either didn't know they had the mx13 or didn't know about the problems with the mx13. When I came to jct in June they had the mix of the three comming in and for ####s and giggles I popped the hood and saw the mx 13 put the hood down and said to hell with that. Made my mind up right there that when I get out of the 12 I'm in now to try my hardest at getting the frieghtliner with the dt12. Every driver I have come across says they love them witch may not be good for me as jct only got 50 of them. The final 100 was canceled so I just have to hope for the best. There is no way that I will pay this truck off as it still has 90000 left on the marker and 510000 miles.

    MachoCyclone Thanks this.

I think what it is that most drivers are afraid (misinformed?) about the DT12 transmission. I don't have one, but there are days I wish I did. Don't get me wrong, I love my truck with the 10spd, just.hate when when in traffic.

I drove a DT12 last year, fell on it's face on hills and had no jakes to speak of. However the E/TCU could have been wonky. On the PEte and KW thing, as long as the engine is an ISX, ill take one. The MX13 still has too many software issues.

Was it the actual DT12 or the Eaton 10 auto shift that got put in the early Evolutions? Because the Eaton version is night and day different than the DT12 and the DT12 four level jakes would almost put me in the dash.

Detention pay with this company is an absolute joke. 48.75 for 4 hours (8 HR total) at Tyson in Noel. Then 45 dollars for 6 hours (10 HR total)....at the same place.

It's one step above IWX who collects detention but gives the driver none.

Both were Tyson windows. The 4 and 6 hours are time waited after 4 hours after the drop dead time since they get 4 hours of our time free.

It's always nice to get a load whose route and timing allows you to do at least a 10 at home. Get to have dinner with wife and kids and free laundry.
