Well I will be back last week of the month. Anyone know how the MX's are working out? Are they still ECU nightmares?

Hey BJ, I got into this t680 at 22,000 miles and at 45,000 now. After the recovery it had to go Kenworth for the engine light on the dash. Has been fine since. Engine light was on when I recovered it but didn't seem to be anything wrong, they said they just replaced a sensor.
It's a ten speed and I've averaged just over 8mpg. Drive it up against the chip the whole time. Really liking it so far but is scary hearing about others problems and shop time.

I'm on my first load with a brand new t680. Only 960 miles on it when I picked it up yesterday. Grabbed an r trlr out of jct with 77000 gross. I'm averaging 6.6 mpg heading to phoenix which is about the same mpg I got on my t660. I was told to run it at the top speed for best mpg and that's 70 with cruise control.

Costs for this truck are 340.00 per week fixed and 0.23 cents per mile. Looks like I'll make about 100.00 on this 1049 mile load after fuEl and fixed expenses. Total cost for the truck is 151000.

They are roomy trucks with refrigerators and comfort pro apus. You only have ac power when the apu is running. The seat auto adjusts to your weight and there are sensors that go off on the left and right siDE if you drift too far out of your lane. Only things that I have noticed so far. Hopefully mpg will improve with time.

Just thought I'd leave some solid info for those people considering a new truck.

Does that variable include maintenance? Or is there another like 8 cents?

Yeah, another 8 cents. With the fuel surcharge I get 0.79 cents a mile to pay all expenses.

    Kamkor Thanks this.

The only reason I quoted cannonballa was because I was going to ask u a question about the fuel gauge on your t680 but as I started writing I distracted myself. Open Question to any t680 driver, how empty is your truck when the needle hits E on your gas gauge? On my t660 I could drive 250 miles after my gauge dropped below E. Thanks
