Running with JCT, Part Deux

got a call back from JCT, of course after I already have an orientation date with another company. Still thinking about it. How's the waters?I hear FSC was bumped up a little. Still making money here?

 

I do believe that they have 3.08 gears and of course the 10 speed

90 cents a mile plus FSC currently at 21 cents a mile. 2 cent per mile quarterly safety bonus.

 

I see that. And I've been playing with their numbers. I hear the variable payment is higher on the new trucks. Is it higher than .23?

 

I dont know what the payments are but im hearing the new trucks are averaging mid 8s without even trying hard. That'll easily cover a couple of cents on payments.

 

My Pete is .23 cpm and I'm getting 8.0-8.7 depending on the terrain at 70 mph

 

Just found out you can have the shop put led headlights on a 14 ftl. For a low price of around $1200.00. I'm thinking about it. They sure do work a lot better.

 

What's the fixed payment? Still 120? Also I was looking at JCTs pictures of the new trucks, is it the Pete or the KW that has the passenger seat that turns around with that workstation?

 

I know my Kenworth has that. Also has a perfect spot for a microwave.

I know the KW has the turning seat. But it's kind of a pain to turn it. Can't keep it turned as it blocks the drivers view. I like storing stuff on the floor up there so turning it has never been appealing to me. But the tables awesome. Flips back out of the way easy as pushing on it.
