Well, this sucks. I had stopped at the last area on 287 in Texas, about an hour from Amarillo coming from DFW. Someone had siphoned off some of my truck fuel. They were at least nice enough to leave two fifty dollars bills in envelope taped to my window with an apologly note, but ran dry on fuel just before I could turn into the truck stop to get a little fuel. Now, have to wait on a road call.

the more i hear about that the more i think about buying fuel caps with locks.

Lucky for me, I had a friend in Amarillo visting family, so, I have him the money to bring me 30 gallons to get the motor primed and running. Total down time was an hour. Best of all, saved myself a road call.crxdc Thanks this. -
Had a friend in Barstow yesterday that had some stolen too.

You would think it would be less of a problem with these crazy low fuel prices.

Be more of a problem as everyone has tanks full of low cost diesel.

Put cameras on your truck including the mirrors so these thieves can be identified.
