First load is to the walmart in Clarksville, AR. Anyone know if they let you deliver early?
-
Actually, I got lucky one time. Showed up a full day early (bustedass for three days to get there on time, too; or so I thought) and this really sweet Jamaican lady let me deliver. Never did figure out how I messed that up.

Every Wal-Mart you go to, and you'll go to a lot of different ones, ask at the gate and make a note for future reference.
A word of advice: ALWAYS show up at the start of the window. Some DC locations may take up to 30-60 minutes to get you thru the gate alone. Add the time it takes you to drop your trailer and walk into the CRO and get to the window, you may be marked late. Wal-Mart notes the time you get helped at the window, not the gate time. If you are late, they will still unload you, but you are now a work in. That means you may be there 10 hours b4 they touch you.
Wal-Mart is notorious for taking their time processing each driver and paperwork b4 calling the next driver. They can take 10 minutes per driver and if you're 4th in line, guess what, you may be marked late.
Not all Wal-Marts are alike. Some are super fast, others....Well, no so fast. Some observe a turn around of 2 hours, others 4 hours from your appt time. If you have a claim (over/short, damages) you're screwed.Saturday Thanks this. -
Speaking of Walmart, just did a delivery to the one at Paul's Valley OK. Appt 1600, hit the gate at 1510, had papers in hand and rolling out at 1635. Thought I was in the twilight zone...
Made a comment about it to the receiving lady and she said Thursdays are the worst days..mental note made.
Casa grande is one notorious for the 4 hour turn around. And they seem proud of it when they tell each and every driver, "we have up to four hours to unload you so check back in 3 and a half hours" -
Plus what makes you so mad is if you look at paperwork it tells you what time unloader started and stopped. And it's usually only a half hour to unload but 2 1/2 to3 hours to get paperwork
