I was told to look for something from Loves to counter JCT's recent move, but was led to believe it was gonna be an increase in points.

Dropped in Temple with full hours since I was parked close, and no Preplan or idea....story of my life. If I dropped with two hours left, I'd have a skin of my teeth timing load, heh.

Had to go out of route to fuel the trailer at pfj. DM refused to add the extra miles to my trip. I wouldn't care if it was just a few miles, but it was 70. I sent a reply message saying I'm not running a charity here, if the company wants those trailers fueled at pfj's they need to compensate me for my time and spent fuel. I didn't get a reply back. I hope you guys have better luck than I did getting those out of route miles added.

Could the argument be made that the trailer could have been fuel b4 you made delivery?

What was your route? Who is your DM?

If I have a drop and hook in this area tomorrow (doubtful), I'd be in the same boat as nearest pfj is 23 miles as the crow flies, and I sat most of the day waiting to deliver with the reefer churning at keeping -10. That would be 46+ oor miles. And I filled up before I came down and I'm below "drop trailer" fuel ammount.

I'm sorry but any mile I have to drive extra to fuel these trailers because they want more money from rebates will be compensated. Unless I could have realistically avoided it. Then I'd have to eat it. Because we are already getting shortest route miles instead of practical.... Something has to give.

Now that fuel routing thing you were testing Steel makes sense....to avoid this...

I fueled in Hesperia before dropping down to LA. This trailer burns through fuel like nobodies business when set to continous. Had to sit with the reefer running till they were ready to unload. Load had a tattle tale in it. I couldn't drop trailer in drop yard without topping it off. The guage read less than half. Well I guess I could have dropped it if I wanted to be a prick to the next driver.

I don't want to post my DM incase the company reads this forum. I need my anonymity on here free from retaliation.

Yeah, this is total b.s. Either they pay for OOR miles or their reefer doesn't get dropped full of fuel

    Kamkor Thanks this.

LA area is one of the areas all DMs should already be aware about. There are several places we can get fuel down there that don't require an over ride.

As far as remaining anonymous because someone in the office may troll on here, I sure as HELL hope they do. They need to be aware of what drivers are concerned about. Anything I post on here is the same thing I say to ppl at the office in person.
