They are betting most drivers will just fill the truck instead of prices.

It's a power move by management to try to get us to use PFJ so they can get more rebate money for themselves. They bank on that rebate and this nice proofs that.

Kamkor, drvrtech77 and crxdc Thank this.

That .12 showing as income screws you guys and lets jct deduct that .12 for every driver they're paying which makes them a boatload of $$of the drivers backs while sticking it to them.

What's the big deal? You're spending your hard earned money buying fuel, and every gallon of pfj fuel you buy, they pocket close to 40 cents. Then they act like they are doing you a favor by "giving" you 12 cents even though it's your money generating the rebate.

One of our former drivers over at Schneider gets 40-60 cents a gallon off at pfj, ten cents more when on west coast. Is that company skimming? Probably, but at a much lower rate, giving the majority to the driver who, again, is generating the rebate.

That's the big deal, on top of the 10% interest truck loans, the shadyish way the trucks are priced which makes it where you can turn the truck in and the next guys loan starts at the exact same price for the truck yours did, effectively making them free money, they jack the rebate. And forcing pfj fueling eats your clock, making you just say "screw it I'll fuel here" which is win win for them.

    But ###### I'm making money here...gah

I think one of the big issues is people having to go out of route to fuel trailers under the rules and being told they won't be paid for those miles.

I agree. I'm delivering in LA Monday and there is no way I am going to dh to the nearest pilot/flying j for free to top off my reefer if I have a pu in the LA area that requires a topped off reefer. They need to at least authorize some fuel spots in areas like la.

There are 3 places in LA area that we don't need approval for to fuel the reefer. One is on Cherry Ave (I think). Get with your DM on the locations.

They should just send that info to the entire fleet. Probably could have made the transition easier on everyone.
