Get pp says I pick up at 1300 today I advise I am unloading at a place that takes 4 hours on a good day at 1100 they send it anyway I figured OK maybe it's a drophook nope they call me at 1500 asking me why I was still at the drop smh. Then ask when I'll get to the pick up I said same time I put on the pp approval ;p now they rescheduled till morning. Of course this place takes hours to load so that will be fun running 1200 miles in a day and a half yeah not gonna happen.

This is what I have to say. IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR YOU, EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!
1. Tracks truck odometer - seriously?????? LOOK AT YOUR ODOMETER ON YOUR DASHBOARD!
2. 8 second smooth over - basically, my interpretation of that means simply that you won't get a true accurate INSTANT MPG. You'll get an average over the last 8 seconds. If I suddenly accelerate, I don't want to see what it currently is averaging with the last 7.95 seconds of coast time. A simple adjustment of the update rate that you like is all you need. I personally like the FAST setting. Its readable and gives me INSTANT feedback.
3. Insofar as the Profit Per Mile setting.......If you have any record keeping abilities, you'll know what your starting gross is for any trip. You're gonna plan fuel stops, you'll know what today's price of fuel is, and most importantly, you should have a pretty good idea of what kind of MPG your truck is getting in all types of terrain and routes after using the "included" features of the D model. Simple math with subtraction will give you a better idea of what your net will be for that trip.
4. " The ScanGauge KR also allows you to watch your profit per individual trips (the call them Trip A and Trip B). The trip parameters are set by the driver so you can compare different loads, roads, etc."
Copied and pasted from that particular forum. My reply to that is: THAT'S A BASIC FUCNTION OF THE D MODEL.
Now, is that worth an extra $50? To some, I'm sure they'll say yes. To most, I hope the answer is NO. C'mon, we're trying to squeeze out every penny profit out of our businesses. Giving KR royalties isn't on my agenda.
OK, I'm done venting.scottlav46 Thanks this. -

Reset? What's a reset?
Last one I got was a couple of weeks ago because I broke down. Prior to that, ran recap for almost 12 weeks. Personally, I prefer running recap.
Scangauge: I'm with the Paper Kitty-Cat. Don't need or want an averaged delayed mpg, I want to know instantly. Its amazing what just 1/4" lift can do for mileage, but you would never know on an averaged/smoothed number.
TAMachoCyclone, Steel Tiger and crxdc Thank this. -
Mmmmmmmm another pinion seal, this time the rear one. Hope warranty covers this one as well....

Saw this video in another thread. According to the driver of the camera truck, JCT tried to pass in a lane that was closing.
