    I have to say that the single thing that greatly increased my mpg... Scangauge. It's incredible because I play a game for 9 hours of "how high can I get the average" and "how low can I keep the gallons per hour" and Wednesday rolls around like "you win! ".

    @kanidana

    When it comes to Mac41, day and half + early, you send it in if you wish. Depends on you and your hours. You could a reset of needed.

    15hrs early...I wouldn't send a mac41. Odds of that being swapped are slim.

    If on the 40 in Oklahoma, they could have you drop at the OKC yard or Sapulpa.

    As for when to send. I usually send about a day or two before getting there.

    If you know you're running ahead from the get go, I'd send a 41 right after a macro 6 and send one everyday with updated eta

    I've never looked at average length of haul as a thing to consider. If my goal is 10,000 miles per month, I want as many trips as possible to come to that figure. I personally wouldn't want 5 or 6 trips to make that up, I'd rather have 12. Makes it easier to decide what I want to be paid and when.

    How long do we have to wait to use the EFS card after fueling the tractor before fueling again? Can't remember if it's 2 or 4 hours without needing approval.

    Never needed to wait. I fueled my tractor at a loves then drove across the street and filled the reefer at a pilot and everything was fine.

    As for the Mac 41 I send it the moment I know I will be early. I resend it every morning of the trip as well as to get swapped or dropped and it usually works out if you are on a main road. Honestly I think ask your DM what their preferred method is. I too agree on the scangauge being a massive help.
