Yep. Made it across.Kansas. The wind was the real pain. 25+ mph from the north/northeast across most of 70. Didn't get out of the rain til #### near Salina.

Drive like normal and drop in OKC. But that is my opinion.

1, Stay with it, very to OKC early, do a 34 so your 70 is wide open.

2 Drop and keep rolling for more miles

Not sure. Trailer has a couple of issues to fix. Also, got to get my electrical cord to the trailer tested. I think it has a short in it. No matter what trailer I have, every time I hit the brake, the trailer ABS light comes on (on dash and trailer) then goes off.

Its not your cord macho. Check your fuses, bottom 30 amp fuse right column is the trailer power fuse.

What's going on is you don't have power going to your center pin on the pigtail. The ABS has a backup system where if it's not getting continuous power it gets powered by the brake pedal. So every time you press the pedal the ABS system on the trailer goes through its self-test.

I had the exact same problem and changing the cord didn't fix anything. Your ABS system is working as long as the light flashes on and then back off. Another way to check to see that your continuous Power Pin is not working is to watch the light on the trailer when you plug in the pigtail. If you plug in the pigtail and the ABS light does not Flash that means you're not providing power on the center pin. And nine times out of ten it's that bottom fuse.

    Runnin and MachoCyclone Thank this.
