    I was just told i cant run the 80 from NE to South cali. Im sorry when did the planners get to tell me which way I can drive?

    They probably assuming you're taking 70 down. And its still chain law.

    no i asked them to correct miles to show thru slc via 80 and was told i have to run down to 40 and across.

    It's the shopper not wanting to pay for the extra miles. There are some things also. If you go across 80 and something happens (breakdown, weather), and the load is latr, the shopper fines JCT.

    If you go the paid route and something happens, and the load is late, the shipper has no grounds to fine JCT

    Maybe they are trying to set up a swap or something, hell I don't know. They kind of did the same over me not wanting to drive face first into a 80 closing snowstorm in Wyoming to get to SLC, and instead take 40. Wouldent pay me to run the 40. So the load was late as I got shut down for nearly 40 hours.
