Running with JCT, Part Deux

Tankers or food grade liquid totes that go in the reefer but require tank endorsement? I hauled some of them at my last reefer company.

 

And I have a tank endorsement.

 

I have tank, doubles, hazmat, passenger and TWIC... Bring it on!

 

I hope it's the tanker trailers. The idea of no longer having to deal with lumpers makes me giddy in my no-no places.

Ya, not sure where you heard that ridiculous rumour, but it's just that.

 

They won't go there. Too many drivers that won't do it and it would cause a logistical nightmare trying to make sure a driver with the endorsement is in the area and available to complete the trip.

 

Anybody ever end up sitting 60 hours between loads? 24 hours waiting to be dispatched after I delivered a 900 mile two stopper over 3 days. Now they give me a 2000 mile 2 stopper going to Florida that picks up tomorrow at midnight and delivers mon and Tues next week. Crazy.

 

I just came out of Florida yesterday morning on a 1400+ two stopper that delivers Friday and Saturday night.

 

I heard it from an asian guy at the terminal. Asians aren't allowed to lie it's in the Kung-## -handbook.
