Hey guys I'm thinking of coming to JCT at the end of July. I've been leasing for 7.5 years at Stevens and do well. I would like less BS and actually own the truck eventually. I've heard that your dm can make or break you at jct. I'm worried I'll get a bad one and not do well. Am I overreacting here? Are you guys happy at this company? Any info would be great thx

If you are not happy with the way your DM is working; you have a couple of options.
1) Give your DM a call, or a sit down of at the yard and have a talk with them. Give it time.
2) If step one doesn't work to your liking, request another DM. This request doesn't hurt anyone's feelings and doesn't hurt you. It let's them know that for whatever reason you and that DM are not meshing.
3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 a couple of times if necessary. There are more than two DM's here.
4) If steps 1, 2, 3 fail to solve your issue, you can talk to management. They have an open door policy, but usually is best to follow chain of command. There is a DM manager.Casey4, CannonballAA and crxdc Thank this. -
Well, this sucks. Came out to the truck to leave only to find a flat steer tire. Waiting on repair truck to show. Must of picked up something on the drive home a week ago.

Ouch, good luck with that bro, be safe out there.

So I was down a week while warranty and the dealership in Phoenix fought over the vibration. Got my entire drive line balanced along with a three axle alignment. Apparently the air ride front suspensions are a pita to align and they won't be able to be fully aligned. I even have that in writing. I'm hoping this solves my vibration and it seems to have when under load. Empty is another matter but that could be the crappy trailer tires.
So back on the road with a nice load to Florida.Top off Thanks this. -
You must be proactive with your business, be knowledgeable about your equipment and the company's equipment, be organised, have a lick of common sense, be professional and above all, be humbleKamkor, dhkwanderer, crxdc and 2 others Thank this. -

Ok great thanks guys I've been leasing for awhile and I'm excited to get to Jct. Alot of guys on the net are only posting negative stuff. It seems like most of them have never leased before and didn't know how to manage fuel and got sour lol

Ahh yes pleanty of the lease are bad people out there. I would agree that there are a lot of bad leases out here but Jct is not one. The only ones that fail at Jct are those that don't understand you are tuning a business. So many think that big check is all play no at and dont pay taxes or upkeep the truck. If you work hard you will do well here.

Ok cool, 1 more question at orientation if the truck I get isn't really the one I like the recruiting told me after 90 days I would be able to get a better one.
