Posttrip showed a half flat drive tire. Aired it up and went to bed. Wake up and it is totally flat busted the bead so no way to re-air it up. Get my trusty 22 year old 20 ton jack out and raise the axle a little, lower landing gear and drop suspension and was able to air it back to 100 psi and limp across the road to TA for check and advise on a possible nail or screw in tire.

Had another tire replaced last week about $900 (not sure because receipt did not have a number on it) anyway, the used truck I lease has used tires, wondering if JCT will prorate the cost of the brand new tire they put on? -

That's a pretty fair price for your steer tire. I personally don't care for these one direction steers (little arrow on tire saying only mount one way) because sometimes being able to rotate them around helps make them last longer or in the case of my old job, I could move them to the drive or trailer as needed.dhkwanderer Thanks this. -
