I'm here at the yard waiting to ride the bus to the motel. Putting the truck in the shop for 300k services, APU, and E-Log fix. I will be getting a restart in on this.

Got my access card from my DM. The reason for it was there was a bum living in the main building break room at night. I made the comment that now he will be living in the shop break room. But the access card is only for the main building at the moment.

I was at the yard for about an hour and a half and during that time, one of the planners was asking if I could do a local run with an R truck since I had 70 hours on my clock. I said, I don't have 70 hours, I have less than 2 for today left and 9 on the 70. I'm running paper logs and I'm done for the day. Already signed and turned in my log for the day and doing a reset while my truck is in the shop. Only reply was oh and that was it.

Took me 13 hours to go from Tulare to Fresno, Fresno to Tulare, Tulare to Lemmore, Lemmore to Tulare.

My trailer blew a seal (Arf arf) while rollin, so I took it to the Carrier shop in Fresno after drop, and we had a trailer there that had work done and was ready. Sweet. Hook up to it, walk around...blown seal...tire looked like the sidewall had gone through a cheese grater. Had been there since the 18th for a Coolant bottle in the reefer.

So...Protip: If you're going to drop a trailer to get work done...and its at a shop that can do...just about everything to a trailer including mechanical....WRITE UP EVERYTHING. They aint going to just do it on their own.

Now I have a trailer from Lemmore that was built before the 1st Obama administration.

Entry by card access only. One of the doors is already broke.

I was at the yard yesterday and John himself was walking up to the safety door and I yelled, "got your card?" He said nope and couldn't get in. I had to use my card to let the owner into his own building. Smh

I got a phone call from Schneider just now wanting to know if I was interested in coming to drive for them. That they were offering a $10,000 (that is not a typo) sign on bonus. I told them no that I was currently happy where I am at and hung up. Guess they are hurting for company drivers.

That's a biggie. PM, 2nd overhead, DPF filter cleaning, power steering filter change. That's for the DD15
