I was talking to the wife and she mentioned wanting lasik (which she does from time to time). This time I had an appropriate answer. I said, "Why pay some dude thousands to shoot a laser into your eye when I can go online and buy a my own laser and do it myself." She came back with, "That she would be blind." So I said, "Either way you won't need your glasses any more." All I got was silence in return and then she changed the subject.

 

Well, it was a valid point.

 

I would have gone just a bit further, to Tucson and filled (same price). This would get you to dfw with fuel to spare. After that, depending on the next destination you could get cheap fuel north of fort worthless or south of Houston in Pasadena. Always check all stops around your route as they can be $0.25 cheaper from one side of town to the other.

I tried getting a new truck a month ago and i got told didn't have any thing imgonna try again soon thisvtruck is killing me in maitinace electrical issues what started with windows leak both driver and passenger door windows windshield leaks on right side not to mention 1600 bucks to replace all my drive u bolts they were all bent and stretched out yes both widows are up

 

Been here past my 90 days

 

Yikes. That's messed up.

 

I have to say...rolling California speeds all week...my mpg loves it but my patience and 70 hate it...

Left Ripon this morning, delivered in Stockton, back in Ripon....wheeeeeeeeee long hauling this morning.

 

I'm on the yard now getting my passenger side windshield replaced. They are swimming in freightliners here. If you don't get a new one it might be because the one you are in is too new. What year model is your truck?
