Welcome back @Treputt.
I was talking to a couple that pulls step deck for Mercer and asked if they knew anything about the dryvan rates. They knew it was low, but the husband looked it up and I was like ####. A lot of the rates were lower than what we get here with JCT and that's with fuel surcharge and other right around the same. Saw a few that were $1.09 a mile all in with fuel surcharge and 1 maybe 2 a little lower. And they live/unload all the time because they are buying the trailer. No wonder the dryvan guys over there won't talk about the rate.
They said every now and then a reefer load pops up, but it's rare.

If my original run was 2700 miles and 2300 miles into it they set up a swap 44 miles away and 300 miles loaded.
OK new load assignment for the swap says 0 deadhead and 300 loaded.
How many miles did I get paid on the original run? I say 2300 but I really won't know til the settlement comes out next Wednesday. -
I ask my Dm to send updated miles
-
Please send new miles for order #141%%%%. Thx
They'll send you the new miles you're getting paid to that point. Need to give weekend and nights a little more time to respond tho as they are few in numberMachoCyclone and scottied67 Thank this. -
Never, ever be in doubt as to what you are getting paid. You should always know that amount as soon as you complete a trip. Wednesdays should never be a surprise
drvrtech77, MachoCyclone and crxdc Thank this. -
This is the cover sheet that summarizes all your trips, calculates fixed costs and maintains a running total of your EFS & Maintenance escrows
This is 1 of the sheets in the workbook that you use for 1 trip. 1 sheet, 1 trip
This is a pic of the version with formulas. Simply plug in the numbers and EVERYTHING is calculated. You'll know immediately what your settlement is.
The other version is exactly like this, but blank where there are 0s. You plug the numbers in and have to manually enter totals, etc. If you don't have Excel, you'll need this version. -
