Another incident in Miami that had me shaking my head. This is at the Pilot in Medley. The individual in picture center is sitting on the curb right next to the drive way. Tight turns required exit and entry.

Did he damage trailer/tractor?
-
When in Cuba, drive as the Cubans drive. Nothing unusual here.

Am I missing something? The guy on the curb shouldn't be impeding any but swift. Most drivers will swing wide to make a turn, leaving the smoker plenty of room to even stretch out their legs.
-
Even a Swift driver could easily avoid that person.

Lepton1, Joetro, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this.

If he gets run over than tough crap. Should have picked a better sitting spot.
-
There are exceptions however, just like at any company out there.
Swift is highlighted very often, but I personally see more unsafe drivers from other companies - especially O/O small outfits.
I also often get QC safety messages that are sent because of a Swift driver doing something stupid.
Those messages never mention other companies, just Swift. Perhaps because Swift drivers are the focus of the Swift safety people.
It is not the company that makes a driver safe or unsafe - it is simply the driver.
The driver has complete control over that truck and the hours they choose to run.Flat Earth Trucker, adayrider and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
Forget that stupid curb corner, watch out for mr tight who got into too tight and now cannot really get out. I think that IS the driver of that tractor trailer on the other side.
