    I think you're supposed to average it out and take the ditch. I'd go with whatever one says go away but that's just me.

    Prepass trumps weigh in motion
    Red light -> enter scale
    Disregard weigh in motion sign

    I do.
    The PrePass doesn't know the scale may really be closed. Maybe they did close the scale, but forgot to turn off the PrePass, it dosn't matter to PrePass. All it knows is that it gave you a red light and will know if you went in or bypassed.

    PrePass tells you to go in, and you don't, it will flag you. It dosn't matter if the scale is really closed. Old dogs don't seem to get this trick.

    II bypassed a scale with a red light on the PrePass once, i knew it was really closed. I got red lights at every scale for the following 90 days. It wasn't worth the trouble.

    Not everyone has this kind of problem, YMMV. ;)

    I used to get redlighted all the time at the scale on 64 east in KY, even when it was closed. If I know they are closed, I bypass but if they are open and I get a redlight, I enter the scale.

    That's what I thought and what I did. I only question it because I know the two in front of me got the same bypass on the road sign. Them and one behind me all went by, I was the only one to enter and when I did they just green lighted me through.

    Trucks equipped with transponders follow in cab signals

    That would make a great sign

    RedRover, Balakov100, DSK333 and 8 others Thank this.

    I can’t think of a state that doesn’t tell you what to do? Some states tell you to follow your in cab transponder....

    Edit to add: I always go with whichever one lets me NOT go into the scale
