Anyone every get a ScanGauge D to work on the 95 or older Detroits? On there site it shows most 97's and newer? I know a lot of the older trucks had the factory add-on gauge like the scanGauge. Showed the same stuff.
IF the ScanGauge D does not work. I guess will be looking for the factor one to add to the truck. I have a Boost gauge and fuel pressure gauge. Will be adding a pair of EGT gauge's. Both pre and post Turbo, where I can work at the best MPG I can get. Truck was set up for good MPG's. As its the 11.1 with 10 direct trans 2.93 gears and 275/80/22.5 Michelin XDA tires. Then get this It had four tanks: 120 gal LH under, 150 gal RH Under, 100 gal LH BOC, and 100 gal RH BOC. The LH under tank is coolant heated with the Arctic Fox dipper and an air on/off thermostat. The front and rear tanks were hooked together with a #10 line and valves when the truck was new. It has the regular ol Davco 380 but also has their Pro-Chek air separator.
If all goes well, will be pulling a 48ft drop deck with it. Pulling empty electrical boxes outbound. Then pipe back.
ScanGauge D on a 1995 Detroit?

I had a 1998 that it worked with. It had the Diagnostic port on the floor by the door. It is a j1702 vs j1939 on the newer ones. The Scangauge plug has both, just flip it around.
