Anybody have any good info on the Nashville division? Or any recent info on them in general?

I drove for them for 2 years, am unfamiliar with anything called a 'Nashville division'.
Maybe on the tanker side? I live in Chatt and was assigned out of the ATL terminal and don't even know of any drop lots in the Nashville area. I think that may just reference the hiring area.

That's just the in the job description on their website. Thought it might be a regional position.

I didn't see what you are making reference to, but yeah, pretty sure if you find Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, etc in connection to a classified, it is a hiring area. They DO have regional work for a Nashville driver, but it may operate out of W Memphis (where my last driver manager was). Also, they do a lot of Dollar General which while it runs out of W Memphis, they hire from other TN citys.
I clicked thru their menu from regional, to the state map, to Davidson and found a "home weekly" fleet but even that is not neccesarily 'regional'.
OK, now I typed in my county (Hamilton) for Chattanooga and I see exactly what you saw - guess their expanding regional fleets have had them begin a 'Nashville division' but my guess is that it is run by the ATL operations (phone number given is a 404 exchange). Give them a call directly, this is obviously new (I just left them in August). 600 mile avg length of haul, 2 weeks out, mostly drop and hook, sounds good to me, I might have to give them a 2nd chance, LOL !

Schneider has a drop lot in Nashville. It's near the Pilot off the Briley Parkway. I drove for them for four years and was still finding new drop lots up until the end. One of my last loads for them picked up at the Omaha drop lot. Schneider has a drop yard in most major cities, even some small towns.

It sounds pretty good. I'm just wondering how much do they have you in the northeast. I don't have any desire to be there every week. I dont see a lot of complaints about them on here. Thats a good sign.:biggrin_255:

you def have to ask a recruiter about that - getting caught up in New England as a "national" driver is one reason I quit them. They get you up there and then you spend 2 weeks running short routes from Maine to CT to New Hampshire to NJ to Maine ...
If it is a SE region, let me know, I might talk to them again about returning.

I talked to them about it. They say 48 states. How many miles a week were you getting running those short hauls?

why do they call it a Nashville Division if it runs 48?
I VERY rarely ran west of the Rockies with their solo fleet (which is what they call their national fleet). Got to Laredo several times, Denver on occasion, French Camp, California ONCE. I'd say I was averaging about 2100 miles a week with them except on the 3 occasions I got stuck in NE when it was maybe 1600 miles. But you know how it goes, average it out with the good weeks and it all comes out ok (average, not great).
