I am also a fairly recent Schneider veteran.
Now doing tanker/hazmat duty, hauling fuel. Home daily.
For those looking to find info on Schneider as a place to start, I can vouch for what Gamecock's earlier comments were here.
Yes, a pretty darn good review/summary.
Based on my own experiences there--I would add to that posted earlier, for the benefit of new drivers--purchase/find a separate navigation system (like, for example, a Garmin) for use beyond/in addition to that provided by your starter company. MAKE SURE it has dedicated truck software/routes!!!
That way--when the company's navigation system goes down/quits working--you will still have access to turn-by-turn "on the fly" truck-specific directions.
I can't imagine what my first year would have been like without that technology (nor do I want to).
A bonus: if you are contemplating Schneider for tanker duty/training--only do so if you can get on a dedicated account after your training. Pass up on Schneider tanker for OTR work.

Did Schneider Bulk. Fired on my first load out alone. High hooked empty trailer. Got out of it on my own. But still decided to report it due to honesty is best policy rule.
