I talked with the folks at Trainco (Toledo, OH area) once more, and after seeing their campus and debating whether to "pay tuition now or pay it later :evil3: with reimbursements (with Swift)", I've finally...finally.... decided to go the private school (Trainco) route. I really thought hard about attending Swift's academy for training and going directly to Swift. I just came to the conclusion that I may get a few more opportunities at different companies (including Swift) after I finish school, rather than putting all my eggs into the Swift basket.
Now, fr the hard part. I need to go tell Mr. Piggy T. Bank :snorting: sitting over in the corner that it's "hammer time."!
Yes, I'm talking about you Mr. Piggy. Why are you shaking? Hammer, nah, this ain't no hammer in my hand. Hey, where do you think you're going? Get over here, you $#?%!#^&W!! You can run, but you can't hiiiiiiiiiiiiide!!!!!!

    :D

If you care to, tell Blackie that I sent you. I can help you out with some of what to expect, and I will get a referral for Trainco. PM me if you are interested.

Day or night class? I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend night class with Dick Herman if you can do the nights. You will learn so much more than how to hold a steering wheel. ;)

PM me like I said, and I will give you my number if you have any questions or anything.

Good luck, and congrats on the step!

    Buckeye 'bedder Thanks this.

LOL - RUN PIGGY - RUN!! (good exercise - :) ) Good choice (IMHO) especially if you have it in the bank to do that. Good luck to you and I look forward to reading your journey :D

After you graduate a lot of companies will pay your tuition from that school-- I know Swift will at $150 a month. Makes for at least one decent paycheck per month lol.

Buckeye 'bedder and 123456 Thank this.

Oh, and I have the same last name as the Trainco owner, Ken Howell. Maybe he will adopt me.

Congrats on making a choice. I was also looking at going the Swift route but finally decided on TDDS and I started yesterday.
