Hate to say it but... I told you so! Arrow sucks and should be avoided by everyone like there the plague! There are so many lawsuits ongoing against Arrow for their Workers Comp procedures they will lose the right to self insure (if they have not already) and then they are finished. Arrow owes millions of dollars in past due workers comp medical debts and millions to creditors like the hotel they used to put drivers in. Goodbye Arrow, rot in hell!
School is completed, Orientation with Arrow starts monday

I'm sorry................ -
I found out i'm approved to go to orientation with Covenant in June.
Hopefully i will have a better experience there.
Anyone been through the orientation there, or drive for them now

Personally, I'd skip the school. Get with Stevens Transport, Swift, or PAM transport. They all have their own schools. You'll pay for it with your time later on, but at least you'll know you have a job waiting for you. They probably have a waiting list to get on, but it's better to wait around before going to school than after. Pistol probably went to Arrow too long after he went through school and lost what little skills he picked up there, which cost him dearly. Hopefully he'll fare better at Covenant, I think he will, because they have a training program there. The problem is the schools do not teach you to drive a truck, they teach you how to pass the CDL test. A typical person coming out of one of the commercial schools knows just enough to be dangerous. -
My first job at Stevens Transport was awful. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Been a happy JB Hunt employee for ten years now. Now they are turning into everything Stevens was...Still, Stevens gave me a break and helped me get into trucking, and I'm grateful for that. -
yeah, i see what you are saying. i have had a class a for 10 years now hauling heavy equipment and farm goods and such..... i worked for roehl for short time 10 years ago until my ex-wife delivered my son who was stillborn... just never got back to the otr for many reasons.... basically i am doing it for a refresher and because most companies wont touch me due to lack of "otr experience"....
