Yeah that makes sense, probably high fail percentage. Then 6 hour course includes 2 hours of Pretrip, 2 hours of Skills and 2 hours of road. I'm pretty confident I could pull off the road driving but the skills part is what worries me a little as far as the test, only having 2 chances to pull up to correct a park. If I can relearn that in just 2 hours I'll be ok.

At the school 10 years ago I had no problems, expelled quickly. Cant remember the test score exactly but I do remember that it wasn't a struggle. Thanks again

The plan right now is to go straight into Melton Truck Lines the flatbed company. After 15 months I'll come back and apply for a local Tanker driving job. I live in Orange County California city of Irvine.

I'd call Melton and see what they require. What they tell you is all that matters.

Yeah, have you talked to a Melton recruiter?
Freymiller might hire you also. They're picky, but sometimes hire a driver in your situation.

Yeah I've talked to Melton they have no problem with hiring as long as I have the CDL. But I'll also check out the other companies if they are better choices

No Matter who you go with your most likely going to be riding around with a wannabe trainer who's gonna be getting on your nerves.

    Sirscrapntruckalot Thanks this.
